You walk through the door
I act surprised to see you
I know not who you are
Your words of many
But until I feel your lips
My heart remains empty
There you are standing tall
And I am here standing alone
Waiting for the time
He said he loved her longer
She said nothing
She should have said something
But nothing was said
It's all been said
And yet nothing
Nothing has been said
Just love, practice and find faith in something
She loved him, always did
There's a song in my head
the words are lovely
while a lonely guitar cries
fingers on a piano
follows along softly
and a smooth saxophone
climbs in
filling my soul
My breath
a constant beat
I heave a sigh
between
the chorus of voices
repeating
"stay with me tonight"
Tell me why
we didn't give love a chance
and why
we just let it pass
Tell me why
you now call me up
after all the
time that has passed
Tell me why
I didn't know
that all this time
You were there.
So you say
you say that you need me
And I say
please don't leave me
Fill me up
and tell me
that you love me
Fill me up
I'll show you
how I love you
Don't let me down
Don't break my heart
If it's a game you want
Then let's not start
Inhale
Touch
his lips
Engage
my lips
Press
lips firmly
Breathing . . . .
Feel
his desire
Wrap
in tight embrace
Breathing . . . .
Taste
his tongue
Answer
with my tongue
Touching
Unbuttoning
Seduced
Me
planting flowers and
trimming the plantings
that were already there.
Having just a little space
to putter in the earth
is good for the soul.
It's like having wind chimes
or yoga bells
or a soft breeze,
rustling of the leaves,
touching of hands.
That kind of feeling.
Creative spirit come alive
Help me to see again
The lines and contours of my existence
Creative spirit come alive
To read between the lines
Guide me to understand others
Creative spirit come alive
Guide me so that one day
I may teach others
Creative spirit come alive
Allow love to enter into this temple
Find a way in through the cracks of these walls
Creative spirit come alive
Give me the strength to trust in myself
Let my inside out--set me free.
Creative spirit come alive
Teach me
So that I am
-Rosalynn Miller
I love you
Now what
I love you
So what
I love you
Let's go
I love you
Let's let go
I love you
I see the light
Sun to the moon
Moon to the sun
Eclipse of the sun
Darkness
swings back into light
A new energy
A new time
-Rosalynn
Transcend into light
Leave the mind behind
Feel your way across the bridge
To an unfamiliar place
Suspended in time
Where silence is the gatekeeper
And love lights the way
Blue is beautiful
When you look to the sky,
See a blue moon,
Or gaze out at the deep blue sea
But when you feel blue
Even tears
Can’t rinse away
Your fears
maybe I am not pretty in the morning
maybe I should wear makeup to brighten my smile
maybe I am not the color of my hair
maybe I am in love
maybe I am not
maybe I'll never know where my obsession comes from
maybe I am right
maybe I am wrong
I am or am I
I am here
An opening occurs
for a brief moment
so slight
that every once in a while
enough space for a glimmer of light--
A crack for change.
Change--
neither good or bad,
a state of mind
at the time.
But at this time,
the perception is
that nothing is changing
or will ever change.
The sun will rise and set,
breakfast, dinner,
the news of oil spills,
the economic hardships,
people in need,
underfunded educational system,
a few good shows on tv
to keep the mind
occupied.
The world spins--
spins slowly, gracefully
as though nothing matters.
