its frayed pages
a chronology of ups and downs,
a scattering of steamy sex scenes
and between-the-lines
unfulfilled dreams
but Chapter 12--
Chapter 12 was ripped out.

If you get hooked on it
love can put you a quite a mess
as I try to get
her to love me--
but all she does is
flip her hair.
Plus,
and much worse,
she’s always with--
with somebody else.
